KPI Ninja, Leading Healthcare Data Analytics Company, Earns NCQA Prevalidation for Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) Recognition
August 2, 2019
Lincoln, NE, — KPI Ninja Inc., announces that Ninja Universe, their core analytics platform, has achieved National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) 2017 Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) Prevalidation.
“By providing software that helps physician practices build the patient-focused, coordinated care infrastructure expected of NCQA patient-centered medical homes, KPI Ninja is helping practices be part of modern health care’s most important transformations,” said NCQA President Margaret E. O’Kane. “Medical homes are the way of the future, and KPI Ninja is helping practices get there.”
Primary care practices that obtain NCQA PCMH recognition have demonstrated the bold transformation of orienting their practice to patients’ wants and needs. Once achieved, these practices become eligible for additional incentives from The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and other participating payers. While KPI Ninja’s from their solution and services, they will now have the benefit of reduced documentation required to qualify for PCMH recognition.
“We are very excited to see our partner, KPI Ninja, achieve this recognition,” said Tyler Toline, CEO at Saunders Medical Center. “Their analytics platform has allowed us to improve outcomes and efficiency by reducing the amount of manual abstraction required. Through this we have been able to build the trust of our providers and have focused on improving quality outcomes for our community. By achieving Prevalidation, KPI Ninja is further demonstrating their commitment to our value-based care journey and helping to improve our operations and ability to easily show the value we offer to our patients and communities.”
NCQA PCMH Prevalidation includes a rigorous evaluation of a submitted health IT solution’s functionality including but not limited to, reporting functions, report examples, screen shots, live demonstrations and other relevant documentation. Based on the review of information submitted above, NCQA approves or declines autocredit based on PCMH factor-level requirements and designates for which factors a product is able to “support” practices.
“We are honored to illustrate how analytics points the way to unlocking the potential of a medical home through NCQA PCMH Prevalidation” says Vineeth Yeddula, CEO at KPI Ninja. “This is another bold demonstration of our commitment to value-based care and partnering with Health Information Exchanges, Critical Access Hospitals and Primary Care Clinics to meet the goals of tomorrow.”
NCQA is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to improving health care quality. NCQA accredits and certifies a wide range of health care organizations. It also recognizes clinicians and practices in key areas of performance. NCQA’s Web site contains information to help consumers, employers and others make more informed health care choices.
